Jack Stecho named People’s Party candidate in Huron-Bruce

HURON-BRUCE – The People’s Party of Canada have nominated Jack Stecho as their candidate in Huron-Bruce for the upcoming federal election on Sept. 20.

Stecho, 18, has resided in Goderich for the majority of his live, but has also lived in Exeter, London and Marathon.

He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School in Goderich and St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School in Clinton as a member of the French Immersion program. He was honoured with the Senior Constable Bruce Crew Award for “contribution, compassion, and good conduct on and off the court.”

He has played hockey since the age of six, and played for the PJHL’s Goderich Flyers and abroad in Poland.

“I care about Canadian culture, traditions, and Canada’s future,” he said.
