Howick woman charged for Listowel offences

NORTH PERTH – One person was charged after a break and enter to a business and a mischief in Listowel.

The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted on Nov. 24 by two complainants. The first victim reported a break and enter that had occurred at a business on Main Street West, Listowel. The suspect had broken into the business by smashing a window in the early morning hours, and then stole a quantity of cash and alcohol.

The second victim reported a mischief that was committed on Main Street East, Listowel, when the suspect entered a trailer in a parking lot, causing damage to items inside.

Randi Elizabeth Sharpin, 26, of Howick Township, has been charged with break, enter a place – commit indictable offence, and mischief – obstructs, interrupts, or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment, or operation of property.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
