HOWICK – A Howick man is facing charges following an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash that took place this August in Wroxeter.
Huron County OPP and Huron County Paramedic Services responded to the crash on Aug. 13 at 8:38 p.m. It was reported that an ATV rolled over on Church Street in Wroxeter.
The driver of the ATV was taken to a nearby hospital and was later released with non-life-threatening injuries.
In a release, police stated their investigation revealed the driver had been drinking alcohol prior to the rollover and was impaired. The results of a blood analysis also revealed the driver had a blood alcohol concentration above the legal limit at the time of the crash.
The accused, 37-year-old Ryan Sanderson of Howick, has been charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
He has a court date scheduled for Nov. 9 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
