Exeter Hawks sit third in Yeck Division standings

EXETER – The Exeter Hawks won both of their games over the weekend. On Fri., Nov. 17 the team played and beat the second place Lambeth Lancers 5-2.

Then on Sun., Nov. 19 the Hawks came out on top of a low-scoring affair beating Port Stanley 2-1. Hawks’ Christian Petrozza had a big weekend as he netted three of Exeter’s seven total goals in the two games.

Troy Kennedy also picked up three points with three assists, two against Lambeth and one against Port Stanley. Goaltender Dane Gubbels picked up both wins, improving his record to 8-5-0.

The Hawks next play on Friday in Thamesford and on Sat., Nov. 25 at the Zurich Arena at 7:30 p.m.

This will be one of two games the team plays in Zurich this  season.
