Drug charge laid in traffic stop in Listowel

LISTOWEL – The Perth County OPP have arrested and charged three people after a traffic stop Listowel last week.

Shortly before 10 p.m. on May 28, a Perth County OPP officer pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation on Binning Street West. Police found that two of the occupants were breaching conditions, and one was found in possession of methamphetamine. Three people are now facing charges.

Charged are 38-year-old Bradley Martin of North Perth, 39-year-old Tracy Dolmage of North Perth and 44-year-old Jeffery Scott of Mapleton Township.

Martin has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine, failure to comply with a release order and failure to comply with a probation order.

Both Dolmage and Scott were charged with failure to comply with a release order.

All three have since been released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
