PERTH EAST – One person was charged after a rear-end collision on Line 86.
On May 8 just before 3 p.m., the Perth County OPP responded to a collision involving two vehicles on Perth Line 86 in the Township of Perth East. The investigation indicated that a vehicle was slowing down when another vehicle drove into the rear of the first vehicle.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision.
Shelley Schmidt, 60, of Listowel, has been charged with careless driving.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
