Dirt bike stolen from garage in Listowel

LISTOWEL – Police are looking for a dirt bike after it was stolen from a garage in Listowel last week.

Police received a report of a break in at a garage on Elma St. W. just after 5 p.m. on July 10. The theft, police say, took place in the 24 hours previous to being called to the home.

According to a press release, the garage was locked at the time and the suspect removed the lock hinge screws to gain access.

The stolen dirt bike is described as a blue 2001 Yamaha, valued at approximately $1,500. There are no plates or lights on the bike.
