North Huron appoints interim treasurer

In response to recent staffing changes within the township’s finance department, Annette Fletcher, Huron County’s deputy treasurer, has been appointed North Huron’s interim director of finance/treasurer.

January unemployment rate for Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Economic Region increases to 5.8%

In January, the unemployment rate for the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula  Economic Region jumped to 5.8 per cent, also the biggest increase (2 percentage points) across Ontario, after sitting at one of the lowest in the province for months.
