Long-time resident of Gorrie, Robin Bolander lends a hand at the Gorrie Conservation Area on Oct. 14. Maitland Conservation held a tree planting event on Thursday, with volunteers planting nearly 100 trees and shrubs, revitalizing the area near the old dam.
