WALKERTON - Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) workers here have hit the picket lines, after mail delivery was halted as a result of a nation-wide strike by postal workers.

WALKERTON - As budget time draws closer, Brockton Council is spending an increasing amount of time discussing budget-related items during meetings.

WALKERTON - Euchre was played on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at the Walkerton Library.

HURON-KINLOSS - South Bruce OPP ended up seizing a number of weapons after responding to a single vehicle collision on Sept. 25, at approximately 5:41 p.m. The collision took place at the intersection of Highway 21 and Concession 10.

FORMOSA - Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority’s directors got a preliminary look at the 2026 budget during the September board meeting.

GREY-BRUCE - Sept. 28, was World Rabies Day, an opportunity to raise community awareness about rabies and how people can protect themselves and their loved ones from the viral disease.

WALKERTON - Brockton is following up with Phase 3 of the Natural Gas Expansion Program.

BRUCE COUNTY - The Bruce Shrine Club (BSC) celebrated  its 50th anniversary this year. The club, which is part of Mocha Shriners based in London, Ont., was inaugurated in 1975 and has grown to nearly 80 members. 

CHEPSTOW - Young at Heart Euchre and Solo games were played at Chepstow Lion’s Hall on Monday Sept. 22.
