Dear Editor, The Elmwood Community Service Association and the community of Elmwood respectfully requests that the Municipal Council of Brockton grant our holiday wish and “Put the Elm back into Elmwood”.  

The traditional start to the year in Brockton was the New Year’s Levee, hosted by Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102, and the Municipality of Brockton. Mayor Chris Peabody took advantage of the occasion to speak about the accomplishments of the past year...

As the new year dawned, there were few celebrations in this area. Roads were closed, snow was blowing sideways, and events were cancelled. Most people stayed home, eating pizza and watching New Year’s festivities from warmer climates on television.

GREY BRUCE - A third update on the work of Special Advisors to the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kieran Moore, in respect of the Grey Bruce Health Unit, was recently detailed in a press release.
