Like most young baseball squads, the Listowel Junior Legionnaires had a very up-and-down season in 2022. Now a year older and featuring a largely returning roster, the local club is looking to further establish itself in the Midwestern Ontario Senior Baseball League (MOSBL) this season.

Optimists host youth volleyball tournament
This past weekend, April 22 and 23, the Walkerton and District Optimist Club sponsored a youth grade 6-8 volleyball tournament. It ran both Saturday and Sunday and was organized by Mary Steffen, a teacher from ICS Formosa. It was a huge success and it seemed the youth enjoyed some extra time to play
