Following a tight competition on July 14 featuring a field of three worthy contestants, only one could be declared the 2022-23 Listowel Agricultural Fair Ambassador. And that ambassador is Hayleigh Royce.

After a long wait, the 166th Listowel Agricultural Fair finally kicked off without a hitch. Elizabeth Johnston, president of the Listowel Agricultural Society, says that despite a rocky few years, in which a full fair had to be postponed, the fair was extremely successful.

On June 25, the South Bruce Dairy Club held its third meeting. This year the Ripley 4-H Dairy Club and the Mildmay 4-H Dairy Club have joined together to form the South Bruce 4-H Club. The club started the meeting at Doral Farms near Teeswater.
