The council of the Municipality of North Perth is providing a letter of support to developers of Listowel Gardens in their subsidy application.

Diana Sweets officially closed its doors as a restaurant at day’s end on Sunday, Jan. 8. But by the end of next month, owners Matthew and Tami Cressey will be reopening them to introduce the Diana Sweets Marketplace & Café, ushering in a new era for the iconic downtown Listowel business.

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) recently reported that Ontario’s property inventory grew by more than $37 billion this past year. In 2022, MPAC reported $37.8 billion in new assessment, which includes new construction and additions to existing properties.
