Lions hosting e-waste fundraiser on April 20

The Monkton and Listowel Lions are collaborating for an e-waste fundraiser on April 20 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at two locations. In Listowel, Trillium Mutual Insurance Company located at 495 Mitchell Rd. S, will be accepting e-waste, and Steve Smith Auto Sales Ltd. at 1 Maddison St. W in Monkton.

County capital budget to drain reserves down to $1 million

Thirty-three projects totalling $9.6 million were approved for tender in the 2026 Perth County capital budget. The next part of the budget, the draft operating budget, is slated to be presented at the Jan. 22 Perth County Council meeting.
