BRUCE COUNTY – Bruce County is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Stauch as its new employment services manager, effective July 25.
As the staff lead for Integrated Employment Services, Stauch will lead the team supporting the delivery of service system management and operationalizing the objectives of the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Employment Services Consortium, which includes Bruce County, Grey County, Huron County, and the City of Stratford serving Perth County.
Under Stauch’s leadership, the Consortium will:
– transition to full implementation as the regional Employment Services system manager (SSM) over the upcoming year, with Bruce County serving as the lead in this Consortium;
– build on the strengths of the existing employment services network to help people prepare for and find employment;
– foster a collaborative, efficient system to meet the needs of diverse local job seekers and employers, including individuals receiving social assistance, individuals with disabilities, youth with higher support needs, and individuals who are new to the region; and
– be responsive to local labour market needs and drive results for job seekers, employers, and communities.
In a press release from Bruce County, Stauch is described as an “experienced leader with expertise in partnership development and the delivery and system stewardship of government funded programs.”
His previous experience includes time as a senior manager with the Ontario Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services and was also previously a service delivery manager with the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities. Aaron holds a Master of Environmental Studies (City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning) and a Master of Business Administration.
