LISTOWEL - On April 3, Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB) held its annual local Skills Ontario Competition at Listowel District Secondary School (LDSS). Students from three high schools participated in two events: team of two carpentry and welding.
Pedestrian stuck by vehicle
Just after noon on April 16, while emergency services were on the scene of a house fire in Walkerton, a 64-year-old pedestrian crossing the road at Durham St. East and Colborne St. South was struck by a passenger vehicle.
