HURON/PERTH - As students across Ontario return to classrooms this fall,  VON’s Ontario Student Nutrition Program (OSNP), is highlighting the vital role school food  programs play in supporting student success, well-being and equity.

WALKERTON - In August, the unemployment rate for the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula  Economic Region increased by 0.8 percentage points to 4.9%. The Region sits at the second lowest  unemployment rate in the province, behind Northwest Ontario.

On Aug. 26, the South Bruce OPP were dispatched to an address in Kincardine, where an individual reported being victim of a fraud.
