Howick Mutual Insurance: 150 years and going strong
A public meeting was held on Feb. 11, 1873 at the home of David Bradnock on the Fourth Concession of the Township of Howick. The meeting was called for the purpose of considering the desirability of forming a mutual fire insurance company. Interest was strong in the community.
