MONKTON – One person was charged after an assault left a victim with non-life-threatening injuries in North Perth.
The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residence on Schade Street in Monkton, on Nov. 25 just before 5 p.m., as an assault had just occurred.
The investigation determined that one person had assaulted another, and caused mischief to the residence. The victim received minor injuries as a result.
Joel Turner, 32, of West Perth, has been charged with assault and mischief – destroys or damages property.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
