Willemina ‘Wilma’ Hendrika (VanHuet Lindeman) Tinholt of Listowel passed away peacefully into her Saviour’s arms, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in her 90th year.
Wife of the late William ‘Bill’ Tinholt (2015).
Loving mother of John & Chantal Tinholt of Ottawa, Fred & Caroline Tinholt of Fordwich, Joan & Paul Kapteyn of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Annette & Jim Vellenga of Exeter, Judy & Henry Huisman of Waterdown, and Bill Tinholt of Bluevale.
Grandmother of Angela Holladay, Joshua Tinholt & Meagan Pennycook, Marisa Tinholt, Sierra Tinholt, Amanda Kapteyn, Ryan Kapteyn, and Nicole & Ryan Guay, Justin Vellenga & Katrina Holdenmeyer, Becky & Justin Mol, and Shane & Kelly Huisman.
Great-grandmother of Landon & Emmie, William, Annabelle, Declan, and Aurora.
Also survived by sisters-in-law Annie VanHuet Lindeman, Hennie Tinholt, Josie Tinholt, Jeanne Tinholt and Adriana Klaassen and brother-in-law Arthur John Tinholt and many nieces and nephews across Canada and in the Netherlands.
Predeceased by her sister Ine & Bertus Bults, and brothers Jan & Annie VanHuet Lindeman, and Henk VanHuet Lindeman.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed, and the link available on the funeral home website.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
