Donelda Catharine Miller of Walkerton passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley, in her 97th year. Beloved mother of Marlene Steadman of Cargill, Robert (Sharon) of Walkerton, Francis (Marlene) of Waterford, Doug of Walkerton, and Donna (Stan) Elliot of Teeswater. Donelda was a grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 11, and great-great-grandmother of 3, and was waiting for the arrival of a 4th. She will be missed by her sister Geraldine Schlosser of Walkerton.
Predeceased by her husband James, son-in-law Robert Steadman, daughter-in-law Joan Miller, brothers Joseph, William, Sylvester, Basil, Patrick, and Edgar, sisters Marie and Mildred, and her parents Richard and Merle (nee Eckensweiler) Cassidy.
Friends and relatives are invited to visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Reception to follow.
