Bruce Edward Ament of Listowel passed away peacefully on his own terms with his family by his side, at the Listowel Hospital Friday January 31st in his 91st year.
Husband of the late Allison (McCann) Ament of 67 years. Father of Joe & Val Ament of Listowel and Patti-Jo and Bill O’Leary of Huntsville. Grandfather of Amanda Ament of Palmerston, Alicia Ament of Brussels, Garret O’Leary and Katie Weber of Revelstoke B.C., and Kaleigh and Carlos Ortega of London. Great Grandfather of Hudson, Hunter, Emmet, Ava, Casey, Renato, Mateo, Valentina, Leandro and Tiago. Brother of Eileen Janelle of Kitchener and Margaret and Jim Renwick of Clifford.
Predeceased by his parents Edward and Ruby (Masters) Ament, sister Audry Orth, brothers-in-law Edger Orth and John Janelle, and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Jim and Shirley McCann, Fred and Joan McCann, Isabell and John Baker and Jean and Bill Hutchison.
Bruce leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wallace Twp. On Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Wallace Twp.
