Gregory MacDonald

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Stuart MacDonald.  Gregory passed away in his 31st year while surrounded by family on Friday, December 20th at the Toronto General Hospital due to complications from a lifelong cardiac condition.

Gregory will be dearly missed by his loving husband, Bradley, proud father of Sloane, brother of Johnathon, and son of Norma & John.  He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and Bradley’s immediate and extended family.  Gregory is predeceased by his adoring nana and papa, John & Colleen MacDonald and grandparents, Jerry & Beulah Warren.

Gregory had an infectious smile and loved being around friends and family.  His family was very important to him and spending time with Bradley and Sloane brought so much joy to everyone’s life.  Gregory spent his career at Ideal Supply and was the 4th generation of MacDonald’s involved in the business.  Gregory quickly excelled in Ideal Supply and enjoyed his most recent role as the Corporate Data Coordinator.  His enthusiasm for helping associates and the company was what brought him excitement in his work life.

Gregory’s passion for travel began with his family trips and sparked the idea to observe each of the major tennis tournaments.  He was excited to have taken in Wimbledon and the US Open.  He and Bradley adventured to many parts of the world and had a special connection to Walt Disney World, where they were married.

Gregory’s kind and nurturing parenting, and endless supply of love will forever be imprinted with Sloane, and serve as a blueprint for how our family will keep his legacy alive.

A celebration of Gregory’s life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to David Suzuki Foundation, SickKids Hospital, or Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
