Ronald Lloyd Fleet of Walkerton passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at South Bruce Grey Heath Centre, Walkerton, in his 96th year.
Beloved husband of Marie and father of Dale MacNeal of Seabright, Carole (Ben) Van Beers of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Sharon (Gerry) Weir of Ottawa, Doug (Deb) Fleet of Walkerton, Rick (Pat) Fleet of Brockton, Patti Butchart of Chesley, Gerry (Cheryl) Fleet of Walkerton, and Greg (Jamie) Fleet of Hanover. Ron was a grandfather of 13, great-grandfather of 11, and a great-great-grandfather of 1, and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his son Steven Fleet, son-in-law Del MacNeal, brothers Bill (Margaret), Mel (Lyril), Bernie (Effie) and his parents Russell and Lucinda (nee Zerkee).
Friends and relatives were invited to memorial visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2024, at Cameron’s in Walkerton, with services held by the Royal Canadian Legion and Masonic Lodge.
