Kenneth William Baier

Kenneth William Baier passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. Kenneth Baier formerly of Millbank in his 96th year.

Beloved husband of the late Audrey Lillian (nee Parker) Baier who was his soul mate for 70 years and predeceased him November 29, 2020. Dear father of Doug & wife Cathy of Point Clark, Rick & wife Linda of Milverton, and Steve & wife Marcy of Surrey, B.C. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jason & Tammy, Amanda & Jesse, Adam & Erica, Sarah & Walter and his 10 great grandchildren.

Ken was the last surviving member of his family having been predeceased by his parents Leslie & Anna (Berlett) Baier, step-mother Agnes (Metz) Baier, brothers and sister Norman & Marion, Velma & Bruce Mullin, Ivan, Helen & Evan Holmes, Jack & Eileen, Elmer & Helen, mother and father-in-law Ryan & Ruby Parker and sister-in-law Carol & Coakley Snell.

Ken was a Blacksmith and Ferrier in Millbank for 50 years and worked in maintenance at Millbank Cheese & Butter for over 20 years. Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting, harness racing, curling and was a collector of antique brass and Sleigh Bells and was a member of the Linwood Rod and Gun. Ken really enjoyed and supported all his grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their sports activities.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer St. Milverton on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 2 – 4 pm. Private family service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 21, 2024. Inurnment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton.
