Eunice Jeanette (Frey) Gaus of Listowel passed away at Caressant Care on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in her 88th year.
Wife of the late Clayton Gaus. Mother of Bonnie & Wayne Ernest, Lonnie Gaus, and Connie & Daryl Marsh, and mother-in-law of Barb & Jim Elms, all of Listowel. Grandmother of Kyle & Julie Guignard of P.E.I., Amy & Jon Skotniczny of Stratford, Bill Ernest & Braunwyn Dickson of Milverton, Carrie Gaus of Listowel, Angel Gaus of Listowel, Rhonda Ernest & Kenny Hughes of Listowel, Paula Ernest & Jesse Hamilton of Monkton, Catlin Marsh of Listowel, Lisa Elms & Ben Belanger of Kitchener, Jessie Hoffman of Listowel, Candice Marsh & Kevin Sloan of Listowel, Jeffery Roth of Clinton, and Edward Gaus of Clinton, and great-grandmother of 17.
Remembered also by her brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Frances Gaus of North Carolina, Ron & Marg Gaus of Kitchener, and Shirley Gaus of Listowel.
Predeceased by her sons Donnie, and Ronnie “Lumpy”, daughters-in-law Debbie Lambert, and Dar McInnes, siblings Allie Class, Eileen Swanton, Albert Frey, and Wilma McLuckie, and brothers-in-law Bill Gaus and Wilfred Gaus.
Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service was held at Trinity United Church, Listowel on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. The service was live streamed, and the link available on the funeral home website.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
