Works begins on VJH steps

Long-awaited work on the front steps at Victoria Jubilee Hall is now underway, taking full advantage of unseasonably warm and dry autumn weather. The steps had deteriorated with time and were in urgent need of replacement for safety reasons. The previous steps served the community for 100 years; hopefully the new steps will do the same.
