BROCKTON – Spring is here and the Bruce County Public Library is getting ready for warmer days. The library is always busy, and April was no exception.
At the Walkerton Branch, story time is going strong, we celebrated National Canadian Film Day by watching Peace by Chocolate and having a few nibbles of wonderful chocolate treats made right here in Canada, and we are excited to see the book-folding projects completed by our crafty adults. Cargill kiddos were busy making afterschool crafts and having fun at the “Something Seedy” PA Day program while the adults got help with their technology questions every Friday. I would like to give a special thank you to our Community Volunteer Income Tax Program volunteers. They assisted 80 individuals with modest income complete their taxes and ensure they can receive supports they need.
