Waterloo resident charged following domestic incident in North Perth

NORTH PERTH – One person is facing charges following an investigation into a domestic incident in North Perth.

On Oct. 5 just after 4 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of an altercation in progress on Campbell Street West in Listowel. During the investigation, police determined that an assault had occurred.

As a result, a 44-year-old resident of Waterloo was arrested and charged with assault – spousal.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
