Exactly one month after a truck crashed through the side of a vacant Atwood Main Street building, crews began the process of demolishing the site so it could be safely removed on Oct. 5. The driver of the commercial logging tractor-trailer was charged with careless driving after crashing into the building shortly before 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5. The street was blocked off for several hours over multiple days while the demolition/extraction took place.
