The Walkerton Capitals U13 Rep C squad travelled to Bracebridge to take part in the Dan Bell and Kris Clement Tournament, Oct. 20-22, where they would come home as tournament champions. The Capitals opened with a 5-1 win over Kincardine on Friday afternoon, followed by an 8-0 win over Norfolk on Friday night. Walkerton dropped a 1-0 decision to Kincardine on Saturday morning, rebounding with a 6-2 win over South Muskoka on Saturday afternoon. In the championship on Sunday morning, Walkerton defeated Brock 3-1 for the title. Team members include Zack White, Ryan Hawkins, Finn Heaney, Mason Potts, Ben Bester, Connor Dunn, Jace Zettler, Ethan McIntosh, Ryder Fischer, Dylan Walter, James Hawkins, Colton Kenny, Kaden Lippert, Owen Fry. Coaching staff includes Matt White, Mark Dunn, Matt Hawkins, Barry Heaney, Stuart McIntosh and Doug Fry.
