Walkerton U11 LL #1 Capitals win Arthur tourney

The Walkerton Capitals U11 LL #1 squad travelled to Arthur on Sunday for the U11 LL Tournament, and came home with the championship trophy following a 1-0 win over West Lorne in the final. Walkerton also defeated Mount Forest 3-1 and Arthur 3-0 en route to the gold medal. “The boys worked their butts off and earned and deserved the trophy,” said head coach Dave Dick. “They came to play and showed it on the ice. I couldn’t be prouder.” Team members include: Corbin Dick, Keegan Millman, Logan Beitz, Lucas Lamont, Ben Fullerton, Anson Coleman, Colton Kuntz, Sam Kelly, Nolan Spitzig, Logan Merchant, Zach MacDonald, Owen Henhoeffer, assistant coaches Wayne Henhoeffer and Adam Millman, trainers Ryan Fullerton and Konnor Deodato, and coach Dave Dick.
