The Walkerton Capitals U13 OWHL Girls team had a successful weekend at the Grand River Mustangs Remembrance Day Classic in Fergus, allowing only two goals and winning all six games on their way to winning the U13B Division. The Capitals defeated Goulbourn, Mount Forest twice, Orangeville and TCDMHA before beating Kitchener by a score of 3-0 in the final. Team members include Madelyn Howes, Caleigh Grubb, Zoe Keip, Mya Doucet, Kendal Boyko, Ainsley Rahn, Brooke Metcalfe, Caleigh Martin, Katelyn Wilkie, Prestyn Kirkorian, Madison Hammell, coaches Jason Howes and Todd Wilkie, trainer Pam Martin and manager Charlene Metcalfe.
