Contributed photo. The staff at Van Allen Insurance in Listowel was inspired by Bell Let’s Talk earlier this year, deciding to challenge one another to stay active every day in February. They logged mileage, with owners Shane and Sarah Van Allen contributing $1 for every kilometre that would in turn be allocated towards a local mental health initiative. The end result was $1,400 for the Huron-Perth Centre for Children and Youth, with representative Dana Bozzato accepting the donation on May 6.
