Two Walkerton groups receive New Horizons for Seniors grants

WALKERTON – Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb dropped in on two local non-profit groups to congratulate them on their success with the federal government’s New Horizons for Seniors program.

The Walkerton Agricultural Society received $22,000 toward renovations inside of their main building, while the Walkerton Golf and Curling Club received $25,000 toward replacing the flat portion of roof over the curling lounge.
