NORTH PERTH – Two teens have been charged by Perth County OPP following a mischief investigation.
Perth County OPP investigated an act of mischief on April 18. According to police, “youths attended the park and damaged the pavilion by pulling and kicking stones from the wall” at a park in North Perth.
As a result of the investigation, two 14-year-olds were charged with mischief under $5,000.
Police say one youth will have the opportunity to have the mischief charge diverted if they successfully complete a Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) program.
The second youth is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
