LISTOWEL – the lamps are lit, and round the fire we children sit, a-telling ghost tales bit by bit!… It’s a GOBLIN!
How many ghosts and goblins are hiding in cupboards and closets around North Perth, waiting to be released and donated to the annual Fall Rummage Sale at Trinity United Church on Oct. 20-21?
How many ghosts and goblins are looking for costumes that are needed for Halloween and can be found at the Rummage Sale?
Similar to the spring sale, there will be racks and tables of men’s, ladies’, teens’ and children’s clothing (most priced at $1-$3), toys, baby clothes and accessories, books, shoes and boots, housewares, household items and small electrical appliances in good working order, antiques and treasures, jewellery, linens…
Donations are already pouring in, and more are needed. Donations can be left at the church during office hours, or call 519-291-3460 to arrange for pick-up.
Check out the new express checkout line for quick cashout for those who have exact change and purchases under $5.
Shopping hours have also changed. Thursday times are 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Friday hours are noon-3 p.m., and of course, the stuff-a-bag for $5, 5-7 p.m.
