NORTH PERTH – A person has been charged after stealing lottery tickets from a local business.
On Nov. 15, Perth County OPP responded to a reported theft from a business located on Main Street in the Municipality of North Perth. The accused was identified through surveillance.
As a result, Jeremy Welsh, 24, from Atwood was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 – shoplifting.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
