Pilot Phil Englishman still has no access to his hangar at Saugeen Municipal Airport (SMA), despite a strongly-worded court decision in his favour earlier in the summer. Since the decision was announced, the SMA has continued to block access despite efforts of another pilot to negotiate a resolution to the impasse between Englishman and SMA chair Dan Gieruszak. Englishman, who has been flying out of Kincardine in recent weeks, said he would like to have his plane safely in his hangar before winter sets in, and is proceeding with legal action. Meanwhile, Englishman’s story has been spreading in aviation circles right across Canada and beyond. (Pauline Kerr photo)
