Teeswater United Church closes after 143 years

TEESWATER – On Sunday, May 29 the last worship service was hosted at the Teeswater United Church after 143 years. The church, located on Elizabeth Street in Teeswater, was built in 1879 after the Wesleyan Methodist congregation outgrew their previous church, which was located on Elora Street and was later converted into an apartment building.…
