The recent fundraising crokinole tournament and private donations raised $7,000 for the Huron and Grey-Bruce Alzheimer societies.
There were 27 players, ranging in age from 14 to 85.
Peter and Jo-Ann Carter organized the event held on Sept. 25 at the Teeswater Town Hall.
