TEESWATER – Two North Huron residents are facing multiple charges following an early morning incident in Teeswater earlier this week.
In a media release, South Bruce OPP say they received a report of a suspicious person along James Street East on Feb. 27 at 2:46 a.m. Officers responded and located two people in the area of the call.
Police say the two individuals initially failed to cooperate with police, but were both taken into custody without incident.
James Leachman, 28, of North Huron was charged with:
– personation;
– obstruct peace officer;
– two counts of fail to comply with probation order;
– two counts of fail to comply with release order;
– use altered licence plate; and
– operate a vehicle with no insurance.
Catherine Corr, 32, of North Huron was charged with:
– personation;
– obstruct peace officer;
– two counts of fail to comply with probation order;
– two counts of fail to comply with release order; and
– fail to comply with undertaking.
Both of the accused were held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for Feb. 27.
