South Bruce council candidate – Mildmay-Carrick Ward: Audrey Bross

BIOGRAPHY

My name is Audrey Bross and I live in Mildmay with my husband and three children. I have lived in South Bruce for most of my life and it’s a wonderful, beautiful community.

I have been acclaimed for Mildmay-Carrick and I look forward to working with the residents of this great area.

I have worked in the HR field since 2005 and have many years experience working in business, large and small.

BIGGEST ISSUE

The most important issue facing South Bruce is whether or not the community wants to host a DGR to host high-level nuclear waste.

We need an answer to this question. All residents need to be heard and we need to move on from the decision, whatever that is.

Just because we have been learning about this and have had studies complete, surveys and everything you can think of to try to convince everyone here to take this waste, does not mean we are committed.

We have not had our say yet, the Saugeen Ojibway Nation have not had their say yet and I will actively work towards making sure that happens in 2023.

Partnering with a multi-billion company so that we can deal with the problem they have created does not seem like a fit for our community.

Please think carefully before you vote in this election because this is the most important election you will ever vote in.
