BROCKTON – The Landing Gear Diner at Saugeen Municipal Airport is proud to see one of its wait staff, Ashley Gellatly, has completed her final testing for her commercial pilot’s licence.
Gellatly now holds a commercial multi-instrument flight rules rating.
She attended the University of Waterloo, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science (honours geography and aviation) and a minor in management studies.
Gellatly has been working at the diner while she builds her flight time. On her days off, you might see her flying with some of the local pilots. Her dream is to fly for an airline someday – but in the meantime, she’ll be greeting her customers at the diner with a smile.
