LISTOWEL – The Perth County OPP has charged a North Perth resident with multiple offences after being stopped at a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) in the Municipality of North Perth.
On Feb. 17 just before 8:30 p.m., a vehicle was stopped at a RIDE program on Krotz Street East in North Perth.
Through the course of investigation, officers learned that the driver was currently bound by a curfew condition.
As a result, a North Perth resident has been charged with: Fail to comply with release order – other than to attend court (two counts), possession of a Schedule I substance – methamphetamine, and possession of a Schedule II substance – other drugs (two counts).
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
