Record setting turn out for Howick firefighter’s breakfast

A record setting crowd of people lined up for the annual firefighters breakfast. The line up was accommodated quickly by Howick Fire Hall hosts, who doled out pancakes, bacon, hash browns and all the favourite breakfast items by the droves, over the duration of the event that ran 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The annual Howick Firefighters Breakfast was a huge success over the weekend. Held at the Howick Fire Station in Gorrie, the event saw hundreds of hungry people line up over the entire four-hour event, that ran from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Fire Chief Josh Kestner estimated the total people served would top over 1,000.…
