On July 17, Del Freiburger of Race Team #37 had the pleasure of lending a helping hand and using some of his race winnings to give to a man in need. Karl Petersen, an employee at Tire Discounter (one of the team’s sponsors) has been recently diagnosed with a very rare cancer. When Race Team #37 heard about Petersen’s situation, they knew they had to help. “With a long road ahead and so many unknowns, he spoke to us about his journey, truly realizing how quickly your life can change,” said Angela Freiburger.
