Quilts of Valour were presented by Tundra Lee to five local veterans during a ceremony May 4 at Branch 295 in Paisley. BRUCE COUNTY – The Quilts of Valour program began in 2006, when a quilter in Edmonton, Lezley Zwaal, presented hand-made quilts to comfort three veterans of the war in Afghanistan who were being treated at the hospital there.
