Quick Feet 2013 team wins tournament in Toronto

The Quick Feet 2013 boys’ hockey team travelled to Toronto last weekend to compete in the Memorial Holiday Classic CCT Tournament. The team went undefeated and ended up in the gold medal game against the Brant Outlaws; the same team that upset Quick Feet two weeks prior in another gold medal match up at the Quest for the Cup CCT Tournament. This time around Quick Feet was up for the challenge and came out victorious with a 3-2 win.
A great group of local boys from all over Grey-Bruce made noise and got noticed in two big city tournaments, coming home a silver medalist and gold medalist. The team consisted of Noah Deibel, Jack Laverty, Luke Stricklen, Max Crawford, Ripken Harrison, Ross Schreinert, Clark Ferguson, Gray Parkhouse, Maddison Williams, Easton Reinhart, Cooper Lantz, Nixon Reinhart, Noah McDonald, Max Zilliax, Nolan Scholten, Jase Palinsky and Alex Eby. The coaching staff consisted of Tim Schreinert, Paul Nixon and Derek Watson, trainer Sabrina Osborne and goalie coach Jeff Reinhart.
